The Walk-through Gives Prodigal Nuptuals the Nod

Today has been a very busy day for the Prodigal Borough PR staff. In the latest volley in our nationwide media-blitz, we somehow convinced Joyce Cohen from The New York Times (actually, it was completely her idea) to make note of our recent re-emergence on the Times's real estate blog, The Walk-Through. This in addition to an earlier article in her own blog which we duly noted today. She seemed especially pleased that CvB and I are planning to tie the knot this summer (you know, that knot), and a search of her previous articles in the news and posts in the blogosphere indicates that she has strong opinions about men who skirt this particular issue.

At any rate, considering the way we squandered our then-rapidly-growing readership in late 2005 by going into mental hybernation, we need all the help we can get, so we're very grateful for the attention...

In Other News, Will the real Joyce Cohen Please Stand Up?

"A pampered trophy wife hires three thugs to kill
her multi-millionaire husband in a fake home invasion robbery.

We know (or at least, we dearly hope) this isn't the Joyce Cohen we've been talking to -- the one pictured above is being profiled Friday May 26th on The Biography Channel in the UK. Not sure how to hook this one up in the US, so I'll be looking for it on video.google.com and youtube.com.

  1. Unlike me, Russell and Cynthia do not have the common-name problem. I am like the three-headed Cerberus -- part legislator from Oregon, part career coach from Connecticut and part Miami socialite in prison for killing her husband.

  2. Sorry Huntgrunt, I couldn't resist taking that cheap potshot. There actually is one single other person on the earth that I've found who shares my name, and as of 2002, he's a professional baby model. Modeling: Now there's a reason to have kids. And lest she feel left out, CvB is always asked if she's related to Claus von Bulow, who doesn't even have the same last name as her.

  3. There is a Cynthia Buhler out there who embezzled money from churches.
